Now that you have read this, you may have noticed that June (Juno) said to Percy that he would have to lose his 'mark of Achilles'. However, he hasn't lost it yet, but everyone here knows that it's inevitable and are adjusting to it.

I think that its in chapter 2- after that stupid -yet brilliant by my standarts- sledding trick and a bit of a run for it

After he saves the day, his clothes steamed and he feels raw, vulnerable and something else that's not good and that people with the curse of Achilles don't feel. I just think that that's what happened to him- which will make the upcoming chapters so much more nerve-wracking.
