This is a question that I can't find an answer to. There's the fact that this is (supposedly) only Percy's side of the story so having the others interlude might not be right. There's also the fact that I can't see what would happen in the third book if they met in the second seeing as I thought that the third one would be about the Greek's journey to the Roman camp and then finally meeting.
But, there's also this one tiny fact that makes me rethink all of that. It's the fact that RR made Percy remember Annabeth right from the start. And he keeps remembering her from what I can tell. So, it wouldn't seem right for him to keep talking about how Percy is always thinking about her and not have her come into this book.
SO pretty much, I'm deadlocked. So, I'm just going to take a wild guess and say that they'll meet in this book, but it'll be at the very end. Whether it'll be a cliff-hanger or not, I haven't decided.

That's pretty much what I've been thinking! :-) I could, like see the ending being Percy was in the middle of a battle and then, "I heard someone scream my name. I turned around, and in less than a second registered several things: there was a giant boat in the middle of the field. An oh-so-familiar girl, probably from the boat, had a scared look on her face as she ran towards me. And lastly, someone was stabbing towards my back." Or something like that, that would make us scream and raid his house with scissors. Lol.

Yeah, although I doubt RR would make that big of a cliff-hanger. That would be too evil, even for him. But you never know though...

He hasn't been very nice lately: " Her boyfriend, a guy named Percy Jackson." "he's at the other camp and he probably doesn't even know who he is." "I placed the tray on my butt and jumped." I know those aren't exact quotes- I was to lazy to get out all the stuff. But still, lately, if ha CAN leave us on a cliffie, he will. Lol, my little(big) rant:-)

I think they will come together in this book. Percy will find his way back to Camp Half Blood and then in the next book the seven will leave in the Argo II.
