if 2 demigods have a child what would would it be called and will it have any powers or just be mortal?

Hav u ever had science with traits and genes and crap like that??? But anyways 1/2 and 1/2 makes the kid 1/2 god. Cuz if Percy and Annabeth had a kid it would be 1/4 Poseidon,1/4 athena, and 1/2 mortal. (1/4+1/4=1/2 god)

Lets look at this mathamatically (because I am a nerd).

First I will define the variables used (because I am a nerd).

G= God
M= Mortal
C= Child
Lets start out with how you get a demigod (because I am a nerd).

1/2 (G) + 1/2 (M) = 1/2 God, 1/2 mortal.

So if we use the same way to find what that would be if two demigods mated.

1/2 (1/2G + 1/2 M) + 1/2 (1/2G + 1/2 M)= C
Simpify that to:
1/4G + 1/4 M + 1/4 G + 1/4M= C
Simplify again
1/2G + 1/2M = C
So the child should be half god, half mortal.

if its a child of a demigod wouldnt that mean that its grandparent is a god? so yea, i think the kid would probably be half demigod, or something

I think it would be 1/4 god. Cause each of his parents would be 1/2.

I think they would be mortal because a Demigod consist of a god and a mortal having a child so 2 Demigods having a child I think would be Mortal

well I think that the kid would be magical, like a nymph or something. just a thought

I think it would be more of a random trait thing. For example, maybe their first kid would be mortal but their second has some mystical ability.

A: Most half-bloods don’t live long enough to have children. Their lives are simply too dangerous. If they did have children, the kids would probably pass for normal mortals, since the godly powers get diluted with each generation. If the parents were extremely strong, the child might be more like a demigod.

I've pondered this question myself. Rick Riordan does have it answered in a FAQ section of his site. If the child was a child of two powerful demigods (say Percy and Annabeth), it would most likely have powers and be similar to a demigod, but if it was the child of two weaker demigods, it could most likely pass off for a human and would have little to no powers.
