How old were Sam and Dean in the flashbacks in Something Wicked?

I think they gave a date, but I can't seem to find it.

Well in a summary of that episode that I've once read, it was saying that the flashbacks were about 16 or 17 years ago so that makes Dean about 10 and Sam about 6 at time. :)
