Bullet didn't know what to do to cheer Rocket up. Rocket forgot who he was so hugging him, like he usually did when Rocket was upset, would be like hugging a stanger to Rocket. Bullet made a helpless gesture with his hands to Seth. Seth nodded. Rocket began to open his month to contiue the story but Seth waved his hand to stop him. "Master... uh ... Rocket?" Seth said looking at Bullet. Bullet nodded. "Master Rocket why don't I contiue the rest of the story for you shall I?" Rocket looked down then back up and nodded. "If you want." He said softly. Seth made a hand gesture for Bullet to confort Rocket. ' I'm tring!' Bullet mouthed. Seth shook his head and began the story.
Seth was standing on the edge of a cliff looking at the landscape in front of him. He noticed something odd about the forest. It was on fire. But that wasn't the odd part. The flames were... purple? He questioned purple fire and ran down the path to get to the forest. He tried to avode getting touched by the odd colored flames but once he did they didn't hurt that much as real fire would. He ran though the forest carelessly until he got to the center of the forest. In the center he found Rocket lying on his stomach with purple glowing on his fingertips. Seth knelt down next to him. He shook him awake. Rocket shot up and backed up to a tree. "Did you make this fire boy?" Seth asked coldly. Rocket's bottom lip started to shake in fear and looked like he was about to bust into tears. "I...I...I" Rocket said over and over again until Seth held up his hand to stop him. He stood up nd walked over to Rocket. Rocket fell to his knees and fliched. "I'M SORRY!" He yelled then clamed his voice. "Please don't have me hanged." he halfed whispered. "Hanged!? Why would a young lad like you to death over harmless fire?" Seth said. "I... I don't know. People said they were going to... Because I... Said I looked old enough to be 14 or 15... But I... I don't... I was going to be hanged if it weren't for... Who got... To save me..." Seth put his hand over his mouth. "Enough." Rocket moved away from him. He finally broke down into tears. "It wasn't my fault... I can't remeber doing... Why would I?... I don't understand... I...I" Seth sighed. "Look i would never you I promise you that. Nor would I let thoose people harm a hair on you." Rocket looked up eyes red from crying. "You promise?" Seth nodded. Rocket couldn't help but hug him. "Thank you!" He cried. Seth patted him on the back. "No worries my young friend. Now may I ask for your name?" Rocket shot back away from him. "My..My name?" "Yes mine is Seth." Rocket looked down. "Don't tell me your parents never gave you one." "I wouldn't know. I can't remember." "oooh. I'm sorry." Seth put a hand on his shoulder. Rocket face lit up. "So i guess you can give me a name if I am gonna live with you." Seth took his hand away. "I'm sorry but I know I promised you to protect you but my home is to small for a child such as yourself." Rocket's herat sank to his feet. "Ohhh so now you are beraking your promise so soon." He said very coldly. Seth felt hurt by his tone. "Believe my boy I wouldn't do no such thing." "Oh really?" Rocket said even colder. Seth sighed again. "What I meant is that I can help you." "How?" Seth pointed to his hood. "See this?" "How can i not it takes up all of your face." Rocket said tring to see though his balckness for a face but couldn't. Seth grunted in amusment. "True. True. I made it hand made so i bet i can make one for you." Rocket's face lit up. "Yeah! Then no one can see my face and I can rome the streets of that town and not get hanged. Oh thanks you Seth!" Rocket said as he threw his hands around his waist.
They got to Seth's house. "Wow this is small! How do you surive?" Rocket said becoming more and more opened to his new friend. Seth grunted in amusment again. "Well snice it is by tons of forest so there are lots of animals and well you know where i am going with this." Rocket nodded. "By the animal thing I feel like I should be offended but I don't know why." Rocket Said. Snice he lost his meomy he can't remember he was ever a Fox, and everyone he loved while he was a fox. Seth gently pushed the boy inside. Seth began on his hood while Rocket looked around. "Do you have any family?" Rocket asked noticing that he didn't have any pictures of his kids nor wife. Seth shook his head while still focusing on the hood. "I'm not old enough young master." Rocket listened to his voice and tried to decied what he was. "40's maybe." Rocket thought a loud. Once Rocket relilze what he said he slapped his hand over his mouth. Seth shot a look at him. "I'm only in my 20's!" "I'm sorry." Rocket said looking down. "Don't worry about it." He said as he finished. He walked over to the boy. "Here try this on." He said softly. Rocket nodded and put the hood over his head. It slipped right on. The boy pulled the hood over his face until there was nothing but blackness. Seth tried to smile but couldn't for some reason. Seth pulled it back and looked at Rocket's face one last time. "Well I guess this is goodbye." He said while he found the reason why he couldn't smile before. Rocket found it hard to smile also. "I guess so. Do you think I can come a visit?" Rocket asked. "Probably not. But if you do I'll be here with open arms." Rocket pulled the hood bsck over his face. "I would expect no less." Rocket said as he walked away.
"And then I walked town. A stupid kid pulled back my hood and bam! I end up back here." ROcket said to sum up the rest. Bullet patted his shoulder. "Hmmm at least I was able to save you bud." Bullet said with a warm smile. Rocket smiled back. "And I thank you greatly." "Hey no need I'll save ya any day. Hey we should get moving if we want to find the rest of our friends." Bullet said to both Seth and Rocket. Seth nodded. "Right." Seth stood up adn packed the rest of the food and some fire wood. "How we gonna lit that?" Bullet asked Seth seeing as they had no lighter. "I got a way." Seth said. They went out the door. Bullet then needed to do something. "Uhh yeah I need to go behind thoose bushes for no reason. Bullet rushed over to the bushes and pulled them back. There he was surpised to see a girl.
