I Just Might Be Next Chapter Seventy Eight
Seth's POV
I found my dream house with my dream about-to-be-wife. The wedding was just in a few hours. Jake, Sam, Quill, Paul, Jared, Embry, and the rest of the gang and I went out for my bachelor party. Sam had all ready told Jared and Paul that is was going to be as clean as possible because he is the sister of the bride. Quill and Embry were really disappointed. So instead we went to the local diner and ate.
"Hey Sam, you remember those time when Mattie got drunk," Jared laughed, "that was so funny!"
"Whoa, hold up," I said, "Mattie got drunk?"
"Yeah a couple of time," Sam said as he made a face.
"But do not worry Seth, she promised not to do it again," Jared laughed as he slapped me on the back rather hard.
"You are lying," I said, "Mattie would not do that!"
"Oh but she did," Paul said, "it was so bad she threw up for thirty minutes straight!"
"Yeah but that was the second time," Jared added.
"How many times did she get drunk," I asked stunned, "and how come I did not know about this?"
"Wait, you mean Harry did not tell you," Sam asked, "that is the whole reason why she had to spend the weekend with your family. Your dad was so upset!"
"It was funny, he was yelling big time," Jared laughed, "I could hear him screaming through the phone."
"What about the first time," I asked curiously.
"Well I know nothing about the first time she got drunk," Sam said as he eyed Jared.
"How could you not know," Jake asked.
"Jared here, kept this secret from me," Sam said.
"I want to know why you had beer in the house," Quill said.
"It was old, I am surprised that it was good," Sam said, "
"Well she kept them all down and it was double the amour the first time," Jared smiled, "your-soon-to-be-wife can hold her beer!"
"How many the first time," Jake asked curiously.
"Yeah how many," Sam asked.
"Half a pack," Jared said.
"Half of pack," Paul asked, "of a 12 or 24 pack?"
"A 24 pack," Jared said smiling.
"Man Seth, you have are getting quiet the girl," Jake joked.
"Do you know how many girls at school would have wished they could some kind liquor down," Quill said.
"Are you sure," Sam asked completely stunned.
"Positive, I counted the empty cans," Jared stated.
"She held them all down," I asked.
"Every single drop," he said.
"Remember that one time she was going to run away," Quill asked.
"So the secrets come out," Jake said.
"I knew that one," I said.
"What about the time when she supposably ditched school, but really the school left her on the beach," Sam said.
"Nope, did not know about that one," I said.
"Yeah, neither did I," Paul added.
"Yeah she was walking back to school when, I think Jared picked her up," Sam said.
"Yeah I did. No one would believe her that the school left her," Jared said, "She was all most in tear when she heard Harry was taking her back to school."
"Whoa, dad made her cry," I asked.
"No, she held the back," Sam said, "she was scared to look at him in the eyes though."
"That is just too funny," Jake said.
"What is the craziest thing Mattie has every done," I asked.
"The time we went cliff diving and she did that little weird thing," Paul said.
"No, the time she tried to steal my bike," I said.
"Why would she do that," Paul asked.
"She wanted to go home and get a shower then come back really fast," I stated.
"He was scared she was going to get hurt so he said 'no'," Sam added.
"There has got to be more dirt on Mattie than that," Embry said, "she is not no angel!"
"Well there was this time," Paul began.
"What time," Jared said as his eyes got really big.
"Yeah, do tell," Quill said
"Oh no," Sam said as he rested his chin on his hand.
"Come on, get on with it, Paul," Jake said excited.
"Mattie and I played strip poker one night when I had to look after her," Paul smiled.
I sat there speechless.
"What," Sam asked a little furious.
"Do not worry, Sam and Seth, we only got to underwear," he said, "And then,"
"Then what," Jake asked even more excited.
"Her black bra distracted me and I lost every single penny," he said, "but than again it was worth it!"
I still sat there speechless.
"Looks like Seth did not have a clue about that one," Jared said.
"I do not think anyone knew about that one," Embry said.
"I am just kidding," Paul laughed, "we never played strip poker!"
"You are a big fat lair," Sam said, "You are saving poor Seth's heart."
"Okay fine, you caught me," Paul said.
"I cannot believe it," I said still stunned.
"It is okay Seth," Paul said as he put his hand on my shoulder, "it did not go any father,"
"Good, I cannot believe you," I said, "she was like 16!"
"So I had just turned 18," Paul shrugged, "just ask Mattie about later and take a picture of her face when you do. I want to the look on her face!"
"Maybe we should all go home, I think Seth has had enough," Sam said.
"I think he needs a drink," Paul said.
"I am fine, let the party continue," I said.
