I don't understand about the 'real' part of the question..i mean Onew is the official leader and he's leading them well. He's the most courteous, down-to-earth, modest, polite, smart, patient, etc amongst them and so i think the SHINee members are lucky to be led by one of the best idol in K-pop boyband

WHAT KINDA QUESTION IS THIS! Who would want to change SHINee's history as a band? Onew is the best leader for SHINee and is the best leader in K-POP! No offense to Jjongie but if he was the leader i only think he would the whole entire song to himself as leader and lead vocalist! But the main vocalist is Onew and the lead is Jjongie but he takes Onew parts of main vocalist sometimes! Jjongie your a great singer but not a leader! DUBU!

i hate it when this kind of question appear.. it seems like people is questioning onew's ability to be a leader.. onew is the leader and if it is not because of how he leads the group, they wont be successful as they are now. im even surprise there are people who choose others esp jonghyun.. though jonghyun is somewhat a leader figure, he's too talkative and talks a lot.. a leader is some who will remain compose and talks when he needs to.. a leader is someone who let his members shines more than him that's why onew always lets his member talks during interview..
