I would say Pettigrew. He knew whom was the target (those he pretended to be a friend of) and that act of betrayal makes him truly just as deadly as Voltemort. Smileing in your face as he stabs you in the back.
Do keep in mind 2 boys fit the prophcy. Harry and Neville, by birthdays. It was all on Voltemort to deside it was the Potter boy.

You mean like...Voldemort?

And if we think it's James, we can say it's James.

And I think it was James. :p

Lord Voldemort of course! He targeted her and killed here. But also Pettigrew because the coward gave Voldemort the information on their whereabouts.

Well then, you might as well say that Severus was her enemy too, because he was the one who told Voldemort about the Prophecy.

I'm not sure I quite caught your question.

I would say Voldemort but there was Wormtail involved too. He did the betrayal after all.

Or maybe Severus' biggest enemy is first himself - whoever is concerned.

Could you perhaps mean rival instead of enemy? As in another rival for Lily's affections besides James? Then I'd say Sirius. Possibly also Remus, but I think Sirius would have made a move for Lily first and that would have stoped Remus.

I disagree about Sirius. He wasn't interested in Lily, or any other woman. I'm not saying this to be snarky or mean, or anything (I do love Sirius), but in all honesty, I feel Sirius wasn't interested in anyone but James. And there's no way Remus would have even attempted a relationship with anyone...his life was hard enough as it was being a Werewolf already.

Hmm, dunno, he was known as a bit of a ladies man and Lily was suposedly very attractive. At the very least he would do it just to annoy Severus. Though I could see Sirius swinging both ways.

@loverofthehearts: Go back and read Order of the Phoenix. Don't go only by what's in the movies--you only get half the story if you do. You have to read the books.
