Okay, I'd be in Slytherin, so that would make it easier for me to approach him - as he seemed to be not that easy to approach...

I'll try to befriend him, he knows so many things ! An interesting housemate, for sure. I'd notice how smitten he would be over Lily. I'd try to help him, as a girl, how to behave in a more efficient fashion with girls. Give him sound advice so that his friendship with Lily could grow into something more romantic.

Heck, be like a sister to him !

And if all this doesn't work, try to soothe him and become more than a friend to him. Hopefully.

A last thing : I don't that Severus would have been interested in a friend that would not have valued knowledge and things of the mind. So being among top students and sharing with him intellectual pursuits would surely help in gaining both his respect and friendship.

I would be like you popo6. I would keep Lily away from him and be his close friend. I see me getting along with him, even though I would be in Ravenclaw. I would also be the one to make James life a living hell. Ohhhhhh...if I had the ability to be able to be there at that moment, when James was doing that. Let's just see if precious Lily would want James after I got done with his face.

keep away from him and hang around with the cooler slythrine's and besides i'm a girl hes and un cool slythrin.(but in the books as an adult he cool so u know that makes up for it)

I'd be friends with LadyNottingham (and Severus, of course)...
I'd be Lilys best girlfriend, and using information given by the afore-mentioned, slowly convince Lily that her and Sev are ment to be.


Or, alert all the Slytherins (apart from Severus) of a 'secret support-the-dark-arts meeting' so they'd all be out of the way, creep into the boys dormitory...

After all, I'm a Hufflepuff... Who would ever suspect me of doing something sneaky ;)

I would introduce myself to him; and have conversations with him about the Dark Arts! To give him someone he can relate to and have a good friendship with a girl besides lily. I would become good friends with him and maybe get him to open up to me later; and we can both talk to each other about the crisis's we have back at home in the Muggle world; ohhhh yeah and how much we hate bullies like James... oh, and I'd definitely stick up for him when it came to James and his stupid alley; I'd make sure they would never come a foot near him and make sure nobody else harms him anymore. I'd look out for him and be as much a good friend as possible, and well maybe someday confess my love...
