yeah deffo.. But i guess Bundy is more scarrier as he actually killed people. Manson brainwashed others to do his killings.
Although i know all of the serial killers on this list. internationally Bundy and Manson are the most well known. But i think all of the are scary in their own right. Lake & Ng are very high up on the scary list.

The Hillside Stranglers almost got me. Well, I lived in an apt at one of the busstops they like to hunt at, and used it frequently. It was the case that got me intimately hooked with the field.

And I was in the area for the capture of Ramirez also.

But, Dahmer fascinated me. I had gone through tons of red tape to get in to interview him personally... and someone stuck a shiv in him. Damn it!

I hear a lot more people mention Ted Bundy on tv, in real life and in books than any other serial killer. Although, it may just be because I watch or read things that the people who created them didn't know much about any other killer.

man! this was a tough choice. all are quite famous but not all are infamous. "charlie doesn't surf" now that's infamous. songs, books galore, interviews, movies you name it charles manson has had it done about him. he's world famous!

Bundy has always fascinated me, ever since I was old enough to read he has been my focus point.

Most of them are pretty well known. Personally, thought, Jefferey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, The Zodiac Killer, Davis Berkowitz, Charles Manson, Richard Ramirez, Ed Gein, and Richard Chase are my top favourite killers. They're the ones that interest me the most.

Definitely Manson....

Bundy has overcome Manson now, he started becoming the more popular one in the mid 90's and now he's the king, Manson lost his place at the top, partly b/c he wasn't executed.

For sure! He won't be forgotten, and the more you study him, the more you find out why.

Manson is maby the most infamous, but he isn't a 'serial killer'. He planed murders, but didn't committ them. He ordered them to his 'family'. So yes, Manson is the MOST INFAMOUS, but NOT a serial killer. Bundy on the other hand is the most fascinating (alng with Dahmer) and most infamous of Serial Killers

Manson isn't a serial killer; he didn't even kill anyone himself. He may be famous, but it irritates me to see him classified as a serial killer. He's far from one, just a crazy cult leader.

As others have already stated, Charles Manson is NOT a serial killer. He himself never murdered anyone.
I'd say Jack the Ripper and Ted Bundy are probably the most infamous, though Ridgway is my personal favorite (he's the one who got me interested in serial killers).

Charles Manson is no damn serial killer, he'd never killed anyone, that's why i pick Ted Bundy as most infamous, Ted is also my personal favorite besides Jeffrey Dahmer and John Wayne Gacy

He's the first killer I heard of. I discovered most of the others while doing research on serial killers.

Richard Ramirez is one scary bastard... And violent as hell.
