I've had friends who didn't like Trump but would still vote for him and even said to my face that they thought him putting children in cages was okay because "if they came here legally..." Bitch none of us came here legally don't give me that

I don't like Trump very much but I'm not going to end a friendship over something like that.

In my opinion this isn’t a debate on politics. If you support a man who sexually assaulted women, said sexual things about his own daughter, made fun of a disabled person, sees victims of a shooting with a giant grin on his face and then parties afterwards, won’t let trans people defend their country, AND locks people in cages just because they weren’t lucky enough to be born here...then you’re no friend of mine.

I'm indifferent with this one. Because I know someone who is a complete ignorant jackass his support was full of fanatic shit. I end the relationship over this reason ,stupid closed-minded dick.

Considering what trump embodies yes. I have. But tbh it was more than just supporting trump that got me to remove him. He was a piece of shit all around.

I think I rather unfriend friends that keeps hating on him because its fucking annoying. My Trump supporter friends just share funny memes about him. Its a lovely time being around them.
Trump haters also shows their ignorance and their closemindedness too.
It doesn't matter what I think about Trump, I can still see which of my friends are either cool or bs.
Just like the ProJared drama. If I see my friend going in on that cancel culture shit, I judge them on that, but not unfriend them.

To the people who are commenting about relationships being more important than politics let me just say; this poll isn't about just politics. It's about morality.

I have autism and have been made fun of for being different, if a friend or relative still supported Trump or was still a Trump fan even after he made fun of a reporter's disability, what do you think that tells me?

I have friends and relatives who have been sexually assaulted and I have had men harrassing me and corner me and put their hands on me without my consent, if a friend or relative still supported Trump or was still a Trump fan even after he's been accused of sexual assault and after the things he's said about his own daughter, what do you think that tells me?

And then there's everything else like his concentration camps, taking away women's right to have an abortion, not allowing trans people in the military, etc.

It's like if a friend or relative said they still loved a celebrity even after that celebrity has been revealed to be a sex offender, child molester, a beater...

I dont really run on the friends of the enemy are my enemies ideology. I respect people having different opinions and ideologies. I mean if they were a hardcore Trump supporter I'd really probably be a bit judgey cause like... being hardcore supportive of him tends to imply a lot about character to really be that in favor of him despite a lot of obvious things, but just being a general supporter isn't something I'd cut ties over.

Even if they were a hardcore Trump follower, I wouldn't just cut them off for that.

I think that the reason the whole everyone should cut out trump supporters or they're bad too rubs me the wrong way is because these people aren't taking family into account. I have some distant relatives (that I still grew up with and am close to) who support Trump.

@jlhfan624 I had to google this to make sure and sure enough there’s several pages that confirm him mocking a disabled reporter 😐 there’s even photos and videos of him doing it

Too bad Google didn’t also show you the other times he mocked people this way, before and after that specific incident. It’s a stupid way to mock people, but he didn’t mock him because he was disabled nor was he mocking his disability.

@BB2010: personally I believe cutting ties with someone just based on their political ideology is also an issue with morality (of course I'm not talking about the person's personality/behavior, just political beliefs specifically). I believe in educating the ignorant, not cutting off the ignorant.

oh absolutely yes
After everything Trump has done, all the illegal and disgusting things, people STILL support him?
It really shows what you believe and that you're a sheep that will follow anyone no matter what they do
Anyways
No
I will not stay friends with someone who supports someone who believes I am an object who deserves nothing
