Yes, I'm going to miss them, but I'm not like those "spoiled" whiny Ash fans who want him to stay forever by saying "Pokémon wouldn't be the same without Ash" or "I want Ash back" 'cause he is not a titular character and the Pokémon franchise wasn't overall created to be only about him as the Pokémon themselves are the true stars, not their trainers. I don't want to sound harsh, but the problem is that the whole Pokémon anime fanbase need to accept for what Pokémon is now as I'm overall fine with the anime writers deciding to go on the "Digimon/Yu-Gi-Oh!/Beyblade" route after Ash officially retires as a protagonist and he needs to take a break in my opinion.
