before you saw the movie, while reading the book, were you team Gale or Peeta?

Team Gale definately! I love him! I felt so bad when Katniss kissed Peeta and Gale was watching.......how would you feel if u were in his shoes? Having the girl you love shipped off to be a part in The Hunger Games and then kissing some guy she doesn't even know. I don't like this situation.....Katniss and Gale were meant for each other! They're perfect!

While reading the book I was team peeta because he was really funny and sweet to katnis.

I was flip flopping on which guy obtained the heart of Katniss... at first I was Gale, okay, just GALE. But during the games I was like PEETA! it went on and on. I went from Peeta to Gale from Gale back to Peeta. Overall, I feel like both guys hold an important part of Katniss that makes her herself♥

I would have to say Peeta! I didn't like Gale because I thought he was to aggressive and controlling. (and who doesn't love the boy with the bread:)

I've said this before for another question and it still applies here. I hadn't made up my mind between Peeta and Gale until I read Mockingjay; then I was firmly Team Peeta.

Kay, I have to say I like Gale the most. I felt bad for him as he thought Katniss was head over heels in love with Peeta and dismissed it as he wasn't good enough competition. I mean, come on, he worked hard to get Katniss to like him; and when he sees her kissing Peeta, he took it as he wasn't good enough and wondered how Peeta could get her to fall in love in just a few short days. He's confused, hurt, and angry with himself. So I felt bad for Gale, considering he had Katniss first.
Also, Peeta is a Mary Sue character. Come on, really. He's got the good looks, the kind attitude, strong loyalty, and he doesn't lose his temper very often. Gale looks at a situation, sees the flaws, and sees the perks, then weighs the outcome. Peeta only sees the good, and when someone turns out to be a traitor, it's a surprise to him. Peeta is naive, whereas Gale knows how the world works. After all Gale's done for Katniss, I'm not going to fall for the bread act. It was just one action and I still like Gale better. Lol but they were both pretty cute in the movie ;D I <3 Josh Hutcherson!!:D

i would have to say i have always been team peeta. he is the perfect man and he's super sweet!! and besides he could bake me cakes:)

I hate the 'team Gale' and 'team Peeta' thing it reminds me of Twilight. But I've always liked Gale, sometimes. Ether than Peeta. Don't get me wrong, I like Peeta, and unfortunately after Katniss was sent to the games, she and Gale couldn't really be together, he wouldn't understand.
So I LOVE Gale, and I like Peeta, just not as much as Gale.

I read the book before i saw the movie. I was team peeta all the way from the beginning. Im team peeta because he's romantic and would do anything for katniss, too bad that it took katniss till the end of the hunger games trilogy to realize the she loves peeta. I just wish she could've realized it sooner so we could see more of what their life would be like when they were both in love. There should be another book where it's about their kids and their life as a happy married couple.

I was always team Peeta. Gale is just the friend. Katniss and Gale make me think of hunting togheter for survival. Katniss and Peeta make me think star-crossed lovers with one in love since forever and the other slowly falling in love. Katniss doesn't feel anything exept warm lips when kissing Gale. katniss feels a sort of hunger with Peeta. If the books didn't end with Peeta and Katniss togheter in the end, I would of rage quit reading forever.
