Not only did she not get love from her mother, but her mother abused her and destroyed her life. Having an absent mother probably would have been better.

^^Well, Snow had a "mother" who destroyed her life too: Regina.

Snow lost her father. She did lost Charming once (though he wasn't dead, but meant to marry another girl)

Regina (though it was self made) lost her father. She had a crazy abusive mom who clearly abused her verbally and with magic. Her own mom killed her loved in front of her face so she could hold her royal status. At lest Gina's rage comes from love not greed. She had no one to turn to. And on top of that Henry hates her too. At lest Snow was never completely alone.

Maybe if Regina had turned to her father...INSTEAD OF KILLING HIM, she would have had some support.

She did try to turn to him. It clearly didn't work. Giminie/Archi was a therapist, why didn't he try to help?

^cause he threatened him. she said she will ruin his life if he didn't mess up with Henry's mind. That poor man is afraid of her...

Before that, in the fairy tail world, before she really started going on her revenge plan.

I don't know if he even met her! And if he did... who knows?! maybe he did try and didn't work. we'll have to wait and see.

Snow and Regina suffered differently on the mother part, but as a whole of everything that's happened to Snow/Mary Margaret, I'd say she and the Queen share an equal pain.

I think what helped Snow was the fact that she had the guidence of the dwarfs, Red Riding Hood, and Prince Charming to tell her not to go down the path of revenge. Prince Charming even took an arrow because he wanted her to stay good. Regina on the other hand was only told that her mother was proud of her when she was being manipulative. Also, the people in her life (the magic mirror and her father) were basically silent and went along with what she was doing. The father tried stopping her at the end, but it was too late. He had already gone many years helping her become revengeful. I guess I think that is the main difference.

I don't really see that much similarity. Snow lost her loving mother as a child, while Regina still had her mother, who was abusive, until she was an adult.
