OUAT has a large number of only children, more than is normal/usual in reality I'm sure. Characters remain only children even when their parents were together for several more years before separating or before one of them died. Even characters who have siblings or half-siblings are either separated from them, or have such an age gap that they can't grow up together. I can only think of 2 sets of siblings who we know or can assume have grown up together.
