I ask because especially recently I feel like there's just so much bad blood between these two fandoms. On tumblr and twitter it's especially bad. And I wanted to know if fanpop has the same rift so to speak or if there are more people who actually like both (or at the very least think that the other character is okay).

I don't like Regina since S1, back when I had no idea Hook was going to be on the show. So, to me being a fan of one and not liking the other are two different things :)

Well, this option was the closest to how I feel, but I'm a fan of Hook AND Regina. I hate the rivalry between these two fandoms! I've had people (both Hook and Regina fans) tell me that I'm not a true fan of one because I like the other too, and it makes me hesitate to say anything about either character.

To be completely honest this fandom war has kind of lowered my opinion on Hook because I feel like I have to take a side. :/ I think it's a load of crap that both fandoms are telling you that you aren't a true fan. Like you do you, anyone who likes both characters in a fandom war has balls lol.

I love both characters but him more, and I can't really see a reason for any fandom rivalry (unless the Regina fans who hate him are also Swan Queen fans?). Rivalries between Killian fans and Rumple fans, or Regina fans and Rumple fans, would make more sense.
