Both are great, but evil Rumple near the end of season 3 and for pretty much all of season 4 annoyed the hell out of me. Although it's not his fault, he's under the curse of the dark one. So I'm impressed that he was strong enough to overcome the evil of the dark one so well with a lot of the good things he did.

At least he's up front about it in season 1.

I loved his redemption arc through the end of 3A, but after Neal's death he just declined too fast. However, you can't go wrong with giggly, scaly, diagonal, childish but badass Rumplestiltskin, hiding behind his dagger and stopping for no one on a quest to find his son.

Well, I loved Rumpel in the flashbacks but.

I lovee Evil Rumple, especially in the flashbacks, but "good" Rumple pisses me off, because he does some piss poor things even when you're supposed to root for him. At least with evil Rumple, he's enjoyable.

He's never been good. Apart from before he became the dark one.

He is interesting. I don't care about him around Belle.

Well....I don't know if that makes any sense but I prefer Rumple evil and Gold good.

YES<333 so much but here's the thing Evil!Rumple is an amazing, complex, really funny character to watch . Evil!Gold is annoying and why do the writers go back and forth with this?! It's getting boring
