I'm actually kind of upset with this.

I haven't seen Frozen, nor do I really want to. They could have gone with a dozen other things, but decided to go with Frozen, a movie so new that not everyone has seen it. I'm sure I'm not the only person that hasn't.

Plus, they sure did make Elsa seem evil. And Rumple did have her locked away in his Vault.

I haven't seen Frozen, but that person's outfit and hairstyle fit what I've seen of Elsa (she's been everywhere for months) completely.

@matchesrulezu It really makes sense on Disney's part. For one, it just came out, so it's still fresh and exciting for many. Second, it's the highest-grossing animated film of all time, has been in theaters twice, and Disney can't keep the merchandise on the shelves. At Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and I believe at Disney stores as well, there's a limit on Frozen items per purchase because it flies off the shelf so quickly. Putting in characters from Frozen, and then being able to advertise that they put Frozen stuff in Once, might draw viewers who otherwise wouldn't watch it and might force the rare Oncer who hasn't seen Frozen to go see it.

Also, why do you say you don't want to see it? If you watch Once, I would assume you've seen other Disney films, and it is just as good, if not better, than classics like Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Tangled, Tarzan, etc. Do what you want, but if you don't see it, you're really missing out.

From a business perspective, I can see what you're saying. But at the same time, because it's so fresh and new, they'll have to be careful with how they mess with Elsa's character. It could hurt them instead of help them.

As for Disney movies I've seen, yes I have seen those Disney movies. When I was like 5-12 years old. The newest Disney movie I've seen is Tangled, and that was only because it looked funny. It was good and funny, but I hate the singing they do in Disney movies. And Frozen seems like it has a lot of that singing.

I agree with matchesrulezu. It feels a bit too new to already be doing adaptions but I'll wait and see what they do with it. Also he original Snow Queen is my favorite fairy tale villain and I would have liked to see them base it more on the original story but oh well.
