Holding the dagger to his throat, sure, but a slap? Not really. I don't really blame him for what he did, though. He desperately wanted to fill the gaping void that losing Emma left in his heart and he thought that going back to the Pirate's life, getting his ship back, would put the pieces back together. Hook has lost everyone he ever cared about and the only constant in his life has been his ship for 300 years. While it's not an excuse, I understand his motive. And the guilt was obviously a huge stone weighing down on his heart. I think an important thing to note is that the Old Hook wouldn't care, but the New Hook did and he felt horrible for what he'd done. posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago
