I'm a little confused about Snow's mother's name

I thought so. But I saw a preview for next weeks ep, and it sounded like they were pronouncing it Ava. So I wasn't sure.

And is she the same that tripped Cora? I think she is, they should explain why she did that.

She tripped Cora because she was a snotty nosed pompous b****! I know she was Snow's mother but I can't imagine having her for a mom. No matter how royal one is, nobody should be mean to their subjects. As Liam said, though he may not have been any better than Eva, "the day you push your sailors too far, is the day the mutiny begins." And when it comes to Cora and Eva, well he was quite right.
