^ Well, I never said it. It was from Wikipedia, that's why I quoted it. The full quote is: Nickelback is one of the most criticized bands in popular music. At various points in their career, Nickelback has received widespread negative reviews from various sources. Review aggregator Metacritic reports that three of their six most recent studio albums since becoming a mainstream act, The Long Road, All the Right Reasons and Dark Horse, have scores of 62%, 41% and 49% respectively.
I know that people are gonna say, "Well you shouldn't believe everything that you hear/read" & a bunch of other stuff like that. But honestly, I do believe that they are one of the most criticized bands in the world for quite a few reasons.
1. If you look on YouTube for some NB videos, you'll find a bunch of assholes trying to imitate and mimic some of the greatest dudes in the world.

And lots of various other videos that I really don't wanna take the liberty of looking at.
2. In the NB Wikipedia, there is a ton of quotes from shitty music reviewers that talk about how suckish NB is, but I honestly feel that they're just jealous. Because they can't make half as good music as they can. ;)
3. They are an AWESOME band! (I'm gonna list all the awesome things about them.)
* Chad writes ALL the lyrics to NB's songs. Well, except for 'Someday', which was co-written by Chad, Ryan (P.) & Mike. A lot of music artists can't say that for themselves, can they? (Most music artists just CO-WRITE, not actually WRITE) so hahaha to you!
* Their lyrics are OUTSTANDING! They're not just some random shit words that they pull out of their asses! (Ex. of what I mean: "'Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter"- Taylor Swift, Love Story. Like WTF does that even mean? *Rolls eyes*) Their lyrics have such a deep meaning to me, its like they're sharing a part of their souls with you every time you hear one of their songs.
* They are such sweet guys! (Do I really need to explain more of this or do you get what I'm saying?) They care about their fans so much, & they respect us too!

I have so much other reasons why they are one of the greatest bands in the world, but I'm short on time, so I'll probably edit this later when I have more time.
But basically, I'm hoping I changed some people's mind's about Nickelback. I know my reasoning was very general, & not specific, which I will change later.
Point is: If you haven't already given Nickelback a chance, give them one. Chances are, you'll love them. If you've already given them a chance, give them another. I'm sure you'll change your mind.
