Well I never really grew fond of Kate so her dying didn't really bother me. Ziva was just like a bonus after her death. Basically in so many words I would not want her dead so that Ziva could join the show but because i didn't feel she belonged on the show. And knowing that Ziva was replacing her would just have made her leaving the show a sweeter deal.:)
It seems I'm one of the few who actually loved Kate! I absolutely adored her and was super sad when she died. I think I totally disliked Ziva for the entire first season she was there b/c I was so upset that they got rid of Kate. But once I stopped being angry I grew to love Ziva and couldn't imagine NCIS without her. So if I could go back in time and chosen Kate to stilly be killed to allow Ziva to come overall I'd have to say yes. Ziva does bring alot to the table and is a very special part of the bond & raw passion that occurs.
Yes, I would've. I never really liked Kate. Something about her just annoyd me, and she was a boring character. I never really saw what she brought to the show, whereas with Ziva, she is not just a character, but a part of the story.

I agree with everyone else!! I liked Kate but if she hadnt died then Ziva wouldnt be there and Ziva is a bigger part of the show than Kate! Awesome question by the way!
I have thought of that question many times and even though i really really liked Kate, i think that it was better for the show to adopt the character of Ziva, i think that she brings more to the show and she makes it more interesting to watch.
