Exactly. And the whole village hated and scorned Naruto, whereas Sasuke was regarded as a genius and hero. I can't imagine how lonely it must have been for Naruto to live like that for so long.

I think Honestly that Sasuke had a hard time also, I didn't see Naruto face to face with his brother while his own realted blood killed his family in front of his eyes. I think Sasuke's family was the most messed up because seriously Itachi came back to hunt him and those memories also created him to go to Orochimaru, that's how bad it was, I think that for him to turn in to such a person and to be capable to turn another path was really an unexpected move thanks to his suffering

Naruto had it tough for him in the young years of his life.
Sasuke hid his feelings of sorrow his entire life.

and after Naruto went passed those moments were he didn't have love from anyone and Sasuke did. Sasuke vs Naruto worst calamity fight sounds like fun, I'm for it.
Here's my explanation on Sasuke's half:

Sasuke didn't have anyone who truely loved him.
He might have been considered great, smart, and talented,
but those were only temporary solutions to his love crisis.
Plus he saw his parents die, by his brother.
That has just got to mess up your mind, a lot...

Naruto's parents gave their lives honorably,
and even though he was scorned for 12 years,
he eventually had Iruka's love, and soon others who would also love him.
Sasuke lost all trust, love, and didn't let anyone in.
Therefore secretly affecting him for as long as Naruto,
and affecting him for the rest of his life. (like in search of revenge and power hungry).
Both were tragic, just Sasuke's tragedy lasted longer.

Now more about the entire family rather than Naruto vs Sasuke:

Naruto's dad went down as a hero for sealing the nine-tailed fox. That isn't that bad of a tradegy, going down as a hero, and during a war to. He prevented the entire village from getting destroyed.

While the entire leaf village mourned over the death of the Uchiha Clan, and Itachi went down as a villain. Nothing honorable about that at all, Itachi just got "power-hungry."

Is just based on the fact I know of Sasuke's past more than Naruto's.

Uchihas' didn't have a choice.

Naruto not knowing his dad, and family love
or
Sasuke experiencing love, having it forcefully taken away, then never getting it back.

I think Sasuke's past was worst because look what caused him be be like as you said "revange,angry,and maddness" do you know that he is already hurt inside and that's why he acts this way right. I mean seriously.
Life eaxmple:
You wake up and go to the kitchen and see that there's nobody there but suddently you hear a scream, you walk out side and your feet step on a wet area of what seen to be blood. You look in front of you and realize that your whole family was killed you scream and run in panic with no direction what so ever and stumble into a tall figure, your brother, then you see behind him that your parents are tied up and he is holding a weapon agaist your mother's neck, he then kills her with no mercy, you are very scared and tears fell down your eyes.... you told him to stop but the pain was to much and you were to weak to stop him, then he killed your father, the room was dark and stained with redness...




with that said your brother escaped,
what would be your goal in life if you were a ninja
A. Go for revenge
B. live a life with hurtfull memories

As i said kakashi could have hated that village for what they had dont to his father but never did he allowed himself to heal it might have took a long time but he set his dreams on something he didnt just sit there in pity and revange.

-anyway it took me a lot of decision to choose between naruto and sasuke, honestly sasuke is really sad too because sasuke's family got murdered by his OWN brother and also he was betrayed by his own brother and his way of losing his family members was very tragic. Sasuke was also tortured by Itachi's mangekyou sharingan and he got to see how Itachi killed his own parents and im not saying that is very sad, that is really sad Indeed. However, now i want to talk about Naruto's past. Naruto past was even more tragic because he didn't even get to SEE his parents and when he found out the truth about him being the host Kyuubi's body it became even sadder because the Kyuubi was actually the one who killed almost an entire village including his parents, he also didn't have any friends. Let's just point out the factors bith positive and negative:

Naruto's Past (negative):
-He became the host body's Kyuubi.
-He didn't even KNOW his parents.
-He didn't have anyone to love in his past not even friends or family.
-Everybody hated him.

Naruto's Past (positive)
-His father gave him a chance to live

Sasuke's Past (negative):
-He was betrayed by his own brother.
-His family was killed by his OWN brother.
-He saw his own parent's death.

Sasuke's Past (positive)
-He at least know his family and lived with them.
-He at least got some love from his brother before he know that he got betrayed.
-He was a great ninja.
-He knew that later on his brother didn't actually betray him.

**Imagine you are Naruto:
You never knew your parents and you had to be alone for 12 years. You knew that A monster was living inside your body and what if you also knew that the monster inside you was the monster that killed your parents and almost an entire village that led to people surrounding you hating you and feels negative when being around you. Since people hated you, you became stubborn and became naughty and people hate you even more but the good side is you try to achieve a high goal and you try to never give up. Even if people hate you, you still try to warm up to them and they will like you better.

-If you were Sasuke, of course you would also be very sad because you saw your parents death in the hands of your brother but also you can at least try to stop your hatred from growing inside you. You also are a great ninja and some people still like you and people don't ignore you.
(though the bad thing is sakura likes you if you are sasuke. why its bad i say? because Sakura is a b!tch!!! You are also emo if you are Sasuke.)
