this is something that's really bothering me!

i just realized i have no life!that's not the point...the point is that at the end of the new manga,there's a picture of the sand siblings and gaara still has the rings around his eyes.i thought that they were do to the fact that if he slept the shukaku would wake up,but now it's gone,so why are they still there?someone help me!

Yeah, my sister and i had some theories behind that. One was that he carried those rings around his eyes so long that they discolored his skin and became permanent. Another is that he took a page from Kankuro's book and now wears eye makeup(to keep up appearances), and yet another is that his eyes are naturally deepset and those "rings" are actually shadows(im thinking of roranora zolo from one piece with his bandana on, he has similar rings around his eyes created by shadows).
