Becky Rosso & Milly Rosso look bright and colorful at the 'Monsters Vs. Aliens' Los Angeles premiere held earlier this week! The twins recently chatted with me about their soon-to-be released DVD, 'Legally Blondes', getting into the business, and some of their favorite things!
- QUESTION - Tell me about the movie 'Legally Blondes'?
- MILLY - 'Legally Blondes' is about twin cousins, Izzy and Annie (Isabelle and Annabelle) who move from England to a really posh prep school in California on scholarship with their dad. We don't have much money like everybody else at school and we stick out in a bad way because we don't dress like everyone else. There's this really mean girl called Tiffany who makes our life miserable and even blames us for something we didn't do. So we have to try to prove our innocence in the academic court. And that was when we used our legal skills that we inherited to get clothes and shoes for bargain skills.
- QUESTION - How did you get into acting?
- ANSWER - We were actually discovered in the audience for the 'Suite Life Of Zack & Cody' when we went to a live taping, which is open to the general public. The executive producer saw us and saw that we were english and twins, and asked us to audition for the show. We took acting lessons for several months and then we auditioned to be on one episode. They liked the english accents so they put us on seven episodes!
- QUESTION - What's up next for you?
- BECKY - After 'Legally Blondes' comes out we're going to be filming a pilot to have our own show on Disney Channel, which would be amazing!
- QUESTION - When did you move to the United States?
- MILLY - We moved to California about 3.5 to 4 years ago. We love it here. We really like the weather and everyone is really friendly and nice to us. We do miss England so we go back every summer that we can, but we love living here.
- QUESTION - Who are your role models?
- MILLY - We really like Heidi Klum. She's our role model because she's a really hard working person, and she's very fashionable and she seems like a great mom, so we like her.
- BECKY - We also really like Reese Witherspoon as a role model. We actually got a chance to meet her before the filming of 'Legally Blondes' started. She was really nice and friendly and didn't disappoint us. She's a really great actress.
- QUESTION - What's been your favorite experience about being in show business?
- MILLY - Getting discovered was a dream come true. It was amazing, we didn't think stuff like that happened in real life, just in films. That was very cool and very surreal as well!
- QUESTION - Had you been interested in acting before being discovered?
- BECKY - We always really wanted to be actresses and singers and dancers, but our mom said that it was a hard business to get into. We have three other sisters and we were always putting on skits and fashion shows and singing and dancing. But, we didn't have enough money to get us into the business. But once we were discovered in the audience, by chance, we decided to get into acting and we love it!
- QUESTION - Do you have any online presence? MySpace, Facebook, Twitter?
- MILLY - We have a MySpace at link and we also have a Youtube account at link.
- QUESTION - What's your favorite Disney movie?
- MILLY - I love 'The Parent Trap'. We can relate to the twins in the film. And it's really funny and really sweet.

- QUESTION - What's your least favorite thing about being a twin?
- MILLY - Sometimes people have been a bit mean to us because we're twins. They say that twins creep them out. So that's a downside to being a twin.
- QUESTION - Do you ever try to play tricks on people?
- MILLY - Twin tricks? A few years ago, back in England, Becky and I swapped classes. It only lasted a few minutes, but luckily our teachers found it really funny.
- BECKY - We really like playing tricks on each other, pranks. One time I taped Milly's cell phone underneath the table and I kept ringing it. She was looking around for it for ages and she couldn't find it for a while!
- QUESTION - If you could tell your fans anything about getting into acting or show business, what would you tell them?
- MILLY - We did get into the business in an unusual way, but we would say try really hard and always learn your lines and be prepared. Things go very slowly, so you can't give up. And always think positively!
- QUESTION - Any other advice for teens your age?
- MILLY - We would say don't worry about your embarrassing moments. We've had our fair share of embarrassing moments. You're not the only one, and you should just forget about it and move on to the next embarrassing moment!
