I saw beloved DeForest at one of the Star Trek conventions at the Disneyland Hotel back in the late 70's. As he was finished talking to the crowd, he went out the back door. I quickly ran out the front and around to the back. A small crowd had the same idea. I asked him to sign my collector plate with his face on it. I remember his words as he looked at me. He asked, "What would you do if I dropped it"? I laughed and said, "Mr. Kelley, only you could get away with it"! He laughed! I will NEVER forget it!♥

I live in boondox Texas there is an ocational convention a few miles north of Dallas which my bf and I go to, he in costume we're making mine for the August one but not many big actors go there
