I agree with everyone who has answered this, if you like/love him enough, go for it. If you feel uncertain of somethings, just ask him what ever it may be. Just go for it!

yeah i think you should go out with him if you really like him go for it and if he likes you too then defienly do it but you have to make sure he isnt one of those guys who will hurt you and force you to take drugs etc

It depends on how much you like him. If you just like him a little bit you need to ask questions about him and be friends with him first. Then your relationship will get better.

if you like him enough, yeah! then if you find out he is still doing drugs or whatever, or if he tries to get you to do something you dont want to do, than you can break up with him. but if he TOLD you he was in a gang and did drugs but quit, than it must me somewhat true. he wouldnt voluntarily tell you that he did do drugs and stuff if he hadnt quit.
