Harry and Draco Question

Why is Drarry one of you favourite Harry Potter couples?

My reason is that last year I became a fan you Harry Potter (Stated reading all the books, watching the movies, so on) and I was just coming down from an obsesstion of a diffrent show and I needed to find another one. It just so happened that Drarry was the first Fanfiction I read of Harry Potter, and I've been a fan ever since.

What are you reasons? I would love to hear them :).

I love them for the same reason I love Dramione and Snarry - because I think it proves that love can conquer all bounds and isn't effected by the past. Draco is a rich pureblood, a Slytherin, a Death Eater, and Harry's rival for Quidditch. Harry is a poor, half-blood, Gryffindor who fought against the Death Eaters and they're leader. But the two of them are able to look past the differences and still fall in love.

It's inspiring, really.

Except Harry isn't real poor. Not as rich as Draco perhaps, but not poor.

He grew up "poor." No new clothes, or toys of any kind. All hand-me-downs. He never got very much to eat (certainly not as much as the Dursley's).

I like it because those characters (Harry and Draco) seem to hate each other, but really, it's all they know. Harry didn't like him because of what Ron told him. A) It's likely to happen if one or two things change.
B) It's so interesting; arch-enemies, falling in love with one another.
C) If Harry was still in Gryffindor, the looks on Ron and the rest of Gryffindors faces would put me in a laugh-induced coma.
D) The possibilities for how it could come about are endless.
