Guitar Question

Please help!

I'm kind of new at playing guitar. I'm trying to learn a song, and on the tab it has something like:
12(14)

What exactly am I supposed to do? I read that it's harmonics, but nothing helped on how to do it. There's also a part where it says 12(10) and it makes no sense to me. Please help.

and then on 12(10) you slide from 12th to the 10th, I think thats what it is, it would help if there was a link or something ;)
