Taxation
beaulingpin picked Taxation:
well, thanks to genetically modified foods, food production can accommodate 6.8 billion people. So no, overpopulation isn't a problem.

And seriously, what would most African families say to this question? Would they say global warming should be addressed, or would they say that malaria or AIDS should be addressed? I think it's straight up evil to say that global warming is more pressing than AIDS. Not as evil as taxation (state sponsored theft), but if the state didn't take so much of the citizens money, they could spend more on whatever they see fit, including AIDS prevention.

wow, I'm just impressed that people want to address the most meaningless, expensive problem first and leave much more important problems festering. but hey, some people are just immoral and don't give a shit about people dying horrible deaths via aids and malaria. I can't teach you to be human, I can only be disgusted by you.

twix picked Saving endangered speceis:
i say save the endangered species first because they are the easiest although people around the world say "they are just animals " well those animals are butchered and slaughtered for us humans so save them because they are not only animals although they sometimes hunt us and most of those animals have helped us alot like horses and camels(in transportation) and have kept usalive(like:cows, chicken, sheep) and im not saying stop eating them im just saying that animals like the polar bears, whalesand some tigers what would u do with their meat ,eat them ohww come on u wouldnt eat a tigeror even a whale . then do the rest because aids is known for years and researches are being done and there is no cure and after addressing this problem i say number 2 would be slavery because its pathetic that this problem with the aids, slaver yand having endangered species actually exist because of human beings .now thats why we should do something about these problems

Global Warming of course, doing all of the rest would be pointless if the planet is destroyed >_> Of course, all things should be addressed.

AmyFitz picked Global Warming:
These other things are mightily important, but global warming is reaching an alarming rate. The severe weather in recent years has been intensifying, and it's because of global warming.

I actually think we should address them all at once.

And to the person who said you're disgusting to want to address global warming? hey, that's your opinion. I care a great deal about aids and malaria, but at the moment the campaign that should be increased is the global warming crisis. Aids and malaria are terrible, but we have to remember that global warming is on a clock! There's no reason why we shouldn't combat aids WHILST the global crisis is also being addressed.

But it's certain that leaving the global warming crisis any longer will do a great deal of damage.

If we don't do something about global warming right now, we may never get another chance!

We only have one planet and we have to be careful with her, the earth is not replaceable!

If we don't attend to the problem of Global Warming first then what would the rest matter, because if Earth blows up we wouldn't have these other problems!!

Why the hell would you worry about all the other problems if the whole world was under water. You'd be dead anyway. So, it really wouldn't matter, now would it?

first replace all cars with zero emission cars over the next ten years (hydrogen fuel cells and electricity). then overpopulation should DEFINITELY be addressed next because our population is already over 6 billion people and is going to double to 12 billion by i believe 2050. if we reach our planet's carrying capacity before then, we'll enter exponential death phase. which basically means massive massive death because the environment cannot support that many organisms. =\

i see your point beaulingpin but for the sake of future generations this must be tackled now. It's strikes me as strange that there are adds telling you not to leave your telly on stand by but Las vegas & Tokyo GLOW day 24/7. I think wastefulness should be tackled for one thing.

The thing is Aids can & should be tackled at the same time, after all it's different resources.

WChangeRider picked Saving endangered speceis:
All of them are greatly important. I just chose randomly. I'd have to say that we'd also have to work a lot on fixing humanity's problems before nature, since what we do and what's wrong with us, gets passed to the environment...sure animals may not be paying taxes soon, but you know what I mean.

Global warming to me, is a silly debate nowadays. Not everyone agrees with it, and anything could be the deal with it. The environment is still important, though.

We need to end Global Warming. Compared to it these are nothing. Do you realize that the heat wave that occured here in 2003 was nothing compared to what will be considered "average" temperature. In fact it was quite cold yet managed to kill out thousands (including my teacher) of overheating. So what does this mean? Will it kill out millions? Guess that cancels out the overpopulation problem and AIDS since AIDS is a killer, it will kill the people with AIDS!!!!!

Slavery

Slavery, food shortages, and AIDS are FAR more important than Taxation, Endangered Species, global warming [which I don't believe in religiously and scientifically]. There isn't even an overpopulation! That's nothing to worry about.

I think that we should taking care of Global Warming first then worry about the endanger species because, if you don't know already people in...some counties are selling ENDANGER species and we aren't doing anything about it and it pisses me off! And we might not be able to stop Global Warming. We fine be able to slow it down though...

Dewheart picked overpopulation and climate change:
There are many serious problems here. However if we reduce overpopulation that will reduce many other problems. Including climate change, endangered species, pollution, disease, etc.

If we stop climate change that will also stop other problems. Including endangered species loss. However if we fail at preventing these problems we will lose even more of the Earth's biodiversity and could even possibly cause our own extinction. In which case all of our other concerns will become irrelevant.
