Original Glee members:
Tina: asian girl who pretended to have a stutter for the majority of the first season. Has a thing with Artie
Arite: kid in the wheelchair who is soft spoken, went on one date with Tina
Kurt: his mother died when he was young, it's just him and his dad, he came out of the closet towards the beginning of the first season, has formed a friendship with Finn and harbors romantic feeling for Finn as well
Rachel: Drama queen extraordinaire, has 2 gay dads, is in love with Finn, has kissed him a couple of times, has dropped out of glee club because things haven't gone her way but always comes back in the end.
Finn: likes Rachel but is in a relationship with quinn who he believed to be having his baby up until the last episode. he has problems with early arrival, is a generally nice guy but doesn't always come through
Mercedes: extremely strong voice, has a lot of sass and is very good friends with most of the glee kids, especially Kurt
Addtions:
The Cheerleaders
-Quinn: head cheerleader until Sue kicked her off, is pregnant with puck's kid, but told everyone it was Finn's (even though they never had sex), has feelings for Puck but doesn't believe he can step up to the plate and be a father so she stayed away from that situation. She plans on giving her baby to mr. schue's wife terry so she can pass it off as hers.
-Santana: not much is known about her other than she might be having sexual relations with brittany, and is definitely having sexual relations with Puck and at one point in time they were a thing (or that was the impression I got)
-Brittany: rather unintelligent, but she is generally a very nice girl and while good intentions has proven to be a spy for coach sylvester
The Football Players:
-Mike Chang: the king of pop and locking.
-Puck: resident bad boy. best friends with finn even though he got finn's girlfriend Quinn pregnant. Dated Rachel Berry because they were both Jews but is in love, or has strong feelings for Quinn, but cannot be monogamous.
-Matt (shaft): i'm not sure what is known about him other than he was called "shaft by coach sue"
The Teachers:
Sue Sylvester: coach of the cheerios, mean, hilarious, and was recently fired. her goal beyond getting the cheerios to a national title is the destruction of glee club and will schuester.
Will Schuester: spanish teach and glee club advisor. has problems with his insane wife terry (who is faking her pregnancy [see quinn's explanation]) in order to keep her relationship with her husband. Will secretly has feelings for Emma, but cannot act upon them (until the last episode when he left his wife)
Emma Pillsbury: is in love with Will Schuester, has ocd and is a neat freak. she wanted to work on a dairy farm until she was 8 when she visited one and her brother pushed her into the runoff lagoon and she never forgot the smell which triggered her OCD and neat freak compulsions.
