Definitely not. Unpopular opinion, but he comes across as creepy.

^There's a difference between being creepy and being romantic. It helps that he actually knows what he wants (unlike Lucas). I hate when people admire and like Lucas for being a "realistic teenager", and then go and demonize Charlie for being one as well.
By the way, the "creepiest" thing he's ever done is seeing both sides of Riley's notebook. I'd hardly classify that as creepy or, as some people say, "stalker-ish".

^^ Well, I disagree. I'm allowed an opinion. I do like Lucas as well as most of the other male characters. Excuse me for finding a guy putting on this big romantic gesture for a girl he's seemingly barely talked to a little odd. It's all in the acting, really. I get the feeling that Charlie likes Riley a little too much. But unlike you, I didn't complain that someone held a different opinion. Why even make the pick if you didn't want someone to say they didn't like Charlie?

^"It's all in the acting". That suggests that Tanner Buchanan is a bad actor (which he clearly isn't, considering how good his comedic timing is). He's easily a better actor than Peyton Meyer, though (not saying Peyton is a bad actor).
You call it odd, I call it realistic. By your logic, that means I should dislike Lucas for being indecisive (which I don't. I like Lucas as well) or Maya for wanting to be with Joshua (Maya is my favorite main character besides Cory and Topanga, by the way). How is Lucas's indecisiveness any better than Charlie's affection towards Riley? How is Maya's affection towards Joshua better than Charlie's affection towards Riley? I said this once, and I'll say it again: At least Charlie knows what he wants, unlike Lucas. I tend to respect those type of characters when it comes to television series.
I gave a girl I had a crush on a Valentine's Day card in the sixth grade. Am I creepy?
Also, if you're gonna dislike Charlie for being "creepy" with his affection towards Riley, you should dislike Farkle for his affection towards Maya and Riley, or Maya for her affection towards Josh (he was practically forced to be with her the last time we saw him, which doesn't help), or Riley for her affection towards Lucas.

And it's not like he's Rebecca from The Roommate, who constantly followed Sara and the people she's close to and got violent with anyone who got in her way. THAT is what I consider creepy.

I'm gonna quote someone whose comment I read in the Girl Meets World wiki:
"I don't think he was 'stalking' her either. That's kind of a harsh word. He was just waiting for the right time to muster up the courage to talk to her. He never had bad intentions. Just a harmless crush from a distance that he was waiting to finally ask out. Like, flip the situation around a bit: you know how some girls stare at guys they are attracted to or have crushes on and if they're taken, the girl waits for the moment when he's single and ready to mingle before they make their move? It's like that. Neither situations are necessarily 'stalking'."

^^ I can't really judge the guy's acting that much considering that he's only been in two episodes. I never said he was bad. Just that Charlie, to me, can be a little off-putting. Peyton Meyer has improved this season. Don't get me wrong. He has a long ways to go, but he is slowly getting better. I never once asked you to like or dislike ANYONE. Not once. My original comment was simply that I found him creepy. I am allowed to feel however I want and excuse me for not caring about a guy who's barely on the show as it is. Sorry, but I'm going to be more forgiving to the actual main characters. Do you know what the difference is between Maya/Josh and Riley/Charlie? Maya actually knows Josh and has spent real time with him. Riley barely knew who Charlie was before he asked her out. Also, I don't find Lucas to be indecisive. I feel like his personal romantic feelings have been pushed aside and that's not fair to him.

No, I'm not calling you creepy for giving someone a valentine. His confidence CAN be a good trait, but to me, it's a little unsettling. He rubs me the wrong way. I cannot help the way I feel about him. It sucks that you're offended, but you need to back off here. I am allowed an opinion and you had no real right to attack me for disagreeing with you. That being said, I don't always agree with the main characters' actions. Maya was out of line by showing up at the dorm. Farkle was out of line in season 1, especially. But they have redeeming qualities that make up for this. Charlie Gardner is, to me, an irrelevant side character who I am not meant to sympathize with as much as I do the main characters. I have no doubt that you'll respond to this saying that if I don't like precious Charlie, I should hate Lucas, too, because ___. But I. Don't. Care. I don't. It's MY opinion. As for Riley's crush, it's different. Lucas and Riley are friends. Charlie never bothered to be Riley's friend. We only saw him twice and he asked her out both times.

The funny thing is, I never called him a stalker. You are getting entirely too defensive here. Next time, if you don't want someone to disagree with you, don't make the pick. Or make both options "Yes" because clearly you are not interested in hearing anything but your opinion and that is sad.

I can honestly see both sides on Charlie, which is why I don't like or dislike him. I mean, it is kind of creepy how he did read both sides of her notebook. Plus he can be annoying. Like with that dating game thing where Riley has to answer a question but Charlie just randomly says something about her and Lucus continues it and Charlie says "IT'S NOT YOUR TURN!!" when it wasn't even Charlie's turn either and yet he did the same thing. Plus it's hard to like him with how he just likes to creep around and try to rub Lucus' face in it. He's also just kind of a pointless character for this love-triangle... or love square I guess. I hate those kind of story lines! I mean, you know they're gonna be the loser in the end and they're hardly ever gonna appear or have any relevance to the story. He's sort of like Denise from the new Muppet show, only he has more of a character. But he does have good intentions, is sweet, and does know what he wants. However, I don't think it's Lucus who is the indecisive one, I think it's Riley and to a lesser extent Maya. I mean, Riley was the one who broke up with Lucus, even though it was obvious they wanted to be with each other, and was the one making the decisions about Lucus' love life without discussing it with him. She told him she was his sister and that he needed to be with Maya, without letting him talk. Along with trying to shove it down his throat that they're "more comfortable around each other this way," when he keeps telling her that he's NOT, but she keeps insisting that he is, despite that she does still have feelings for him. Maya and Lucus are more like a brother and sister than Riley and Lucus. I have no idea why Maya and Lucus are such a popular ship, aside from the whole Zutara effect as I like to call it. The most popular male character with the most popular female character that are polar opposites being together, even if it doesn't make sense in the very least. Maya also can't seem to decide her feelings because at first she's like a sister to him, then says she has feelings for him, then she says it's awkward (WHICH IT IS), then says it's over, and then suddenly they're still together. Lucus is the one having his love life chosen for him by these two indecisive girls (Who are my two favorite characters on the show, at least the new ones). Season 2 was fantastic, but it's major flaw is this stupid storyline that was completely pointless. I mean, it's obvious that Riley and Lucus are gonna get together, just like how it was obvious that Cory and Topanga were gonna get together anytime something happened between them. Why couldn't they just have Riley and Lucus be a couple and go through actual relationship trials that actually happen? I wanna see that, not this bullcrap storyline of whether Lucus should be with Riley or Maya and Riley being with Lucus or Charlie. Farkle really is the smartest one out of them all because he seems to know that Maya and Lucus are like brother and sister and that Riley should be with Lucus. I was happy when he said Riley still had feelings for Lucus because I've been screaming that at the screen the whole time.

Sorry for my rant. Overall, while Charlie could've been a good character, he was just made so irrelevant just for the sake of this bull crap storyline. I understand why people like him and I understand why people dislike him. He's a real mixed bag for me but overall he's okay.
