Fruits Basket In book 6 why does Kyo hug Tohru?

Ok, you know how in book 6 kyo hugs tohru after she sees his true form? ive been wondering for a while why he did that! did he want to transform? or did he want to show his love for thoru? help!

It is because she had accepted him for who he was, she had acknowledged that the true form was a part of him and accepted it/still loved him. everyone else had ignored that side and tried to hide it (like his mom)
