Does anyone know why they cancelled the fruits basket anime?

They ALWAYS do that with anime...its almost like giving a preview for the full manga. It always pisses me off though. The manga rocked!

probaly cause it's finished, try animemedia or animecrazy

The Anime is only the first eight books. So Hopefully they will create the rest of the books in an anime.

It wasn't cancelled; It's just 26 episodes long. Most anime have that many episodes. A second season will more than likely not be made.

Because the producers are idiots who are too lazy to finish an anime based off a kick-ass manga and they should go die for bringing a negative feeling about Fruits basket!! ...... *cough* sorry, I just don't like the anime. At. All.

It was in the wikipedia. The writer got injured and had hard time coming back in writing and drawing so she decided to end it up. I'm too disappointed in that reason. Why don't other writers continued it? =(

Unfortunately they ran out of funding to continue making the anime. :(

Because the makers of the show r meanies for cancelling it!! :P
