he was killed by an explosion on that side of the castle it's never confirmed who caused the explosion but it was probably Rookwood, because when Percy saw him, he went chasing after him

Fred was standing with Percy who was busy fighting the minister and could not believe that Percy was resigning when an explosion caused by an unknown person came and that lead to poor fredie's death. A suspect is Bellatrix cause she told mrs weasley that she might go the same way that Fred did. I cried so much when I read bout his death :'(
