do you see me?

do you see me all alone?
do you call the hospital on your phone?
do you see the pain inside?
did you see me try to hide
the redness on the floor
as you came through the door?
i wonder if you'd just walk past?
each breath could be my last.
maybe im not there to you
could you just get a clue?
i suffer and i cry and cry
im attempting to die
but i cant so heres my life
reflecting off a bloodied knife.
can you see the tears?
the sadness of all my years?
i guess you never looked
on pain i am hooked.
maybe if i make you see . . .
all the pain inside of me.
my blood is running down my arms
can i give into deaths charms?

i wrote you a poem
i wrote it on my wrist
i wrote it with a razor blade
it ended with a twist
the blade is sharp and narrow
i do it to kill the pain . . .
but as i finished my first sentance
the blade ht a vein
i watched my poem run down my arm
i watched it drip to the floor
i saw a puddle of blood
and then i saw no more.
