A guy called me a Messed Up Emo =(

Should I be offended that when I asked out a guy that I liked he called me a Messed Up Emo??? I really liked this guy and wish he just accepted me as I am. :( Oh well i guess.

This guy isn't worth bothering with. You have to be comfortable with yourself, who you are is who you are,and if he doesn't like that,he has to solve it. Maybe talk with him. I guess you could say there approval is not needed. This world is full of posers,who try to be something there not. Stick up for yourself and your style. Yeah thanks. I forgot to mention though that this guy is my brothers friend, and if i talked to him my brother would get mad at me. My brother already dosn't like me, because like his friend, he does not like emos and just thinks they are depressed people who dress in black and cut themselves. He thinks i cut myself and cover the scars which i don't, although i have hit myself with a metal pole once and left a preety bad bruise, but i was just being really stupid that day.
