Duncan and Courtney Question

Do the producers or writer of Total Drama like Duncwen?

I read someone say that the writers of Total Drama admitted they do not like Duncan and Gwen together. Is this true, and if so can you give me the link or the source where you read it?
I thought they did like Duncwen considering how they ended Duncney, but they could have done it for ratings solely. It be nice to hear that they do like Duncan/Courtney considering how the voice actor for Duncan said he likes Duncwen and doesn't like Duncney.
