Listen to really loud music- My Chemical Romance would be of profound assistance. Nonetheless, do not listen to it above the amplitude of 90 Decibels, as that is considered noise pollution, which could thus cause permanent deafness or tintinnabulation. :) Xxxxover a year ago

Series 8 has been more or less confirmed to be broadcast on BBC One in August 2014! So another long wait after the christmas special, unfortunately :( . At least the series is rumoured not to be split in half, and the wait will hopefully make the quality of Peter Capaldi's first episodes as The Doctor much better :).

John Hurt's Doctor is most likely a different version of the Doctor that decided to not to call himself the Doctor and never fought in the war or something like that...I forgot the theory. link< That might've been the video I watched that explained John Hurt. :)over a year ago
Oh ok but as I understood it is that the 12doctor will actually be his 13 incarnation and John hurt plays a bad doctor and is the real 9th life and the 9th doctor is the 10th life but called the 9th doctor because John hurts doctor is not the doctor so he can not be called the 9th doctorover a year ago

I have 70 classic DVDs under my television- fifty of which I have watched. Nonetheless, I cannot watch a DVD without feeling guilty by virtue of my not having utilised that time as though to study! I have finished one year's Biology, one year's Chemistry, one year's Maths, nearly finished one year's Geography, as well as two year's Physics, in two months...I know this is not associated with 'DW', but I love you all and wish for you to convey your honest opinion...do you think I am panicking too much? Shall I watch some classic DVDs during my breaks? :) Xxover a year ago
You can't study without having breaks in between :) It is inpossible to stay focussed for that long, so during your breaks you need to do something competely different: like watching DW :) i think you are panicking a bit much too, you are already in front of everyone in your year and they will explain all of the stuff, you are learning now, in the lessons anyway. There's no point in going to school if you already know everything they are telling you, that would just make it boringer if anything :pover a year ago
Thank you for your advice. I did study 13 hours without stopping once, but the next day, was beset with an excruciating migraine, LOL! :D My friends think I am panicking ineffably, too. I finished my Physics, Maths and Geography earlier than anticipated so thought, 'Why not watch some Classic 'Who'?'. Thus, I resorted to watching 'Black Orchid' starring Peter Davison, Sarah Sutton, Janet Fielding and Matthew Waterhouse. If you wanted to do a TARDIS interior with tiny "hidden" tributes to all the Doctors, what would you pick for 1, 3, 6, and 8? The others are obvious - 2 a recorder, 4 his scarf, 5 celery, 7 his cane, 9 a banana, 10 Converse Shoes, 11 a fez. Please no Jelly Babies as that applies to too many of them. It's got to be unique to each one.

I must say, I am a little disappointed with Capaldi's age, for the Doctor looking younger, yet being so old, in the modern juncture, was emblematic of how he, notwithstanding being ancient, had youthful aspects to him and the younger generation were able to resonate with that. I hope Capaldi does not act as an impediment to the ratings being better fortified.
Oh, well! Let us provide him with an opportunity. I am simply avaricious for more 'Who', at this point in time! :D Xx

I hate it when someone thinks that a companion is a Mary-Sue and lists his/her faults! Let me give you guys an example, Rose Tyler! Before the 2nd season ended, they thought she was a Mary-Sue, but said that she was too whiny and couldn't do anything right!!!!!!!!!!!! That is what also happened to Clara! Clare was given the 'Mary Sue title' because they really loved a companion before her, like the ponds, and then say that she is full of herself. Does THAT count as a flaw? Thank you for ranting.

It has come to my attention that people seem to either have a discussion about which companion is the worst or the best, or whoever the doctor loved more. I think the companion is one of the key elements of having Doctor Who being a great show. I don't dislike or hate ANY of the companions since they never ruined the show for me. I just had to say it. Who agrees with me?
Posted over a year ago
I agree with you in that companions are a quintessential contributory factor to the show. Nonetheless, I also think 'Doctor Who''s standards are additionally dependent on the sophistication of the story and the Doctor himself. Also, I think it is vital for many emotions to be engaged when watching it. Relationships and mutual bonds between the Doctor and his companion are also key to the show. For example, with regards to me personally (though many will not resonate with what I am about to proceed as though to say), I admired Ten and Rose's relationship, for they were discrete in their affections for one another and it was beautiful to see their bond come to fruition in the course of the second series. So, yes, that is my personal stance. But I completely agree with what you have stated. :D Xxxover a year ago
Yeah, but I can't stop myself disliking some of them. But it doesn't really bother me that much who the companions are. So I have to agree with you a bit. I still don't like all of them as much, but I don't hate any and it does't wreck the show for me even if they do have an occassional 'not so good' companion. (Have the feeling I've explained that pretty bad there, sorry, but it all comes down to the fact that we don't care who the companion is, we love doctor who anyway) XDover a year ago
i have noticed that Donna is liked by everybody because like every othr compampion gets there fair share amount of hate. Did anyone else notice that?????over a year ago
My most preferable companions are Rose, Sarah Jane, Clara, Leela and Jo. Thus, I would personally rank Donna in second position. :) She definitely enhanced the comical aspect of the show. :D Xxover a year ago
According to a poll conducted by 'Doctor Who' TV, the public's most preferable regeneration scene was David Tennant to Matt Smith, having obtained 55.39% of the votes. Conversely, Colin Baker to Sylvester McCoy acquired the least votes, pulling in only 0.51% of the public's preferences. What are your sentiments, regarding this, fellow Whovians? :D Xx

I honestly have to agree with them. I actually voted for Tennant to Smith, so I'm one of the 55.39%. 6 into 7, was definitely the weakest regeneration, the effects were bad and Sylvestor McCoy wore a wig because Colin Baker didn't get a chance to film itover a year ago
