Do you think Amy and the eleventh doctor go well together or do you think River should be the companion?

River is fun in small doses, flicking switches on the Tardis control behind the Doctors back is amusing but if it happened in every episode it would really irritate me. So if she were to become a companion, i would rather it not be the future and all knowing River.
I'd prefer Amy as the companion but can accept a younger River or both :0)

amy is the best companion ever!
all river basically does is flirt with the doctor and say 'spoilers!' gahh it annoys me! but she's all right sometimes i just think shes there a bit too much already...its just my opinion :)

I believe that Amy is a perfect companion for the Doctor because she isn't... perfect! River is kind of a time-lord too, so two geniouses together, it wouldn't be so cool. Besides, Doctor has to be the know-it-all guy of the story!

I'm not sure why both of them can't be there at the same time, but if I had to choose, I would pick River Song as the companion. Amy is cool but, in my opinion, not one of the best companions that the Doctor has had. Besides, it really irks me when she flirts with the Doctor--even while she is married. River is cool, and the more we get to know her, the more I think she's more suited to time travel with the Doctor then Amy is. Sorry if I offend anybody--it's not my intention.

I say Amy because she's an amazing companion and one of my favourites ^^
River should stay as what she does now, coming back every now and again, she's like sweets, nice in small doses but after to much you get sick.
