Doctor Who Question

Question about the Silence.

I am hoping this will be answered during this season. In "Day of the moon" we find out that the Silence has been on earth since the discovery of fire and guided mankind's developement. Last season's "Vampires of Venice" the creature's came to Earth to escape the Silence. Are the Silence on more than one planet, or did they actually come to Earth later than they told the Doctor?

No definitive answer yet, but, history indicates that Steven Moffat likes writing monsters that live everywhere in the universe. Plus they seem to have TARDIS-like technology.

the silence was on earth before anyone else...but in my opinion I'm suggesting that the silence's population could have overgrown so most of them decided to move to other planets.....the ''vampires of Venice'' were unlucky to have the silence come to their planet

Good point, we will have to wait and see. One question though, why would the "Vampires of Venice" try to hide on the Silence home planet? There are alot of great possibilities for plot lines.

Well I think the silence came from the cracks in time because on the other side of the crack contained there dimension witch the came through when the cracks opened and stayed on earth before the doctor knew about them.
