Do you think the Doctor ever falls in love with his companions? (besides River Song)

I think that he does love his companions but if he shows it then it will be that much harder knowing that he will never grow old and that he cant spend his life with them. I dont think he finds it gross to date humans because if that were true than wouldnt his companions find it gross to date an alien?

i agree he honestly was in love with Rose. There was astrid and althoughmit pains me to say it but he loved rennitte too. An i dont really think he's in love with River Song like she said in the big bang he doesn't really know her yet he might fall in love with her but who knows.

Yes he was in love with Rose and Rennitte. We also know that he married Queen Bess. He cares deeply for his companions, but normally keeps them at arms length. As he explained to Rose and others, it's hard watching people you love, age and die.
It seems like eventually he marries River, but we have to wait to see how and when that happens.
As far as dating aliens, in the Doctor Who TV movie made in the 90s, the Doctor claimed he was half human. Alot of fans like to ignore the movie, but it would explain his connection with earth. Also, why in the classic Doctor Who Series, the Doctor almost seemed like an outcast to Gallifrey.

Oh please no!!! I also don't think he's necciacarily in love with amy. He loves her a friend i think. Plus if moffat said it it's probalby a lie. He lies about whats gonna happen in future episodes sometimes.
