I would say that Rory would have to be human. Since the Universe rebooted and the pandora never happened, there was no auton Rory. Any knowledge of those events,Rory may have came from Amy's dreams and memories that she talked about.

Pffft, that's stupid he could have been a really uber character. Makes sense tho, coz I was wondering why is he still acting the same and why isn't he all wise now being 2000 years old and all?
Maybe look at it this way. If he spent 2000 years guarding the pandora, he probably didn't get out much.It's was amazing he wasn't a babbling fool. I mean more than normal. LOL
