the standard of the CGI doesnt really affect how the plotline would have played out, but it could have made the visuals even more stunning especially with the super powers and stuff - tho when disney was going for that classic "painterly" look, a lot of the backgrounds were traditional paintings rather than CGI, so visually i dont think it would have affected much ^.^

I think that the story is solid, but Bolt's character really deserved more character development and the movie lost much of it's focus during the second and third act. So I think the movie could have been even better if the animators had more time to figure out how to portray Bolt's personal evolution.

I agree, but I picked yes because if any Disney movie got extra time to be made, there could be small improvements made, just to make it that slight bit better. You're right about it visually with the painterly style though. There was nothing wrong with Bolt, but I think any movie could be made better. Not sure how, but they could. Even Frozen could be improved, and that movie was stunning. It would be interesting to see what they would have done with it if they have the full four years. CGI animation keeps on improving more and more.

yea I like these comments I think the only slight criticism would be the painting backgrounds, but I guess you don't really look at the background. and perhaps we could of maybe seen some of mittens history as a stray, would have been an added touch also. im quite astonished that they managed to pull of a spectacular film within the time span :D.

They could have had the standard four years but just not released when they started production. I like the way the film looks and it is supposed to have a style. It intentionally didn't have photorealistic rendering to fit the style. I think the movie is great as it is
