I guess his backstory. 13 brothers. always pick on him. ((seriously? pretending he wasn't there... for years?)) and then i think he wants a kingdom and he shows that he would actually make it as a good/kind king (ex. taking care of the people of erindale) as opposed to the AWOL sisters and maybe even his brothers and in the end he goes back to a family who doesn't even care for him as far as we know. i don't really know for sure but i'm betting its the backstory.
