Disney Question

Why do people always suck the fun out of Disney movies by claiming they have plot holes?

I mean, seriously, I was watching Tangled the other day, and some stupid woman was whining, "Why didn't Mother Gothel change the date of Rapunzel's b-day? So many questions!" Hey dumbass! Why don't you ask the directors yourself!! Also, you can't hate a movie just for one simple little mistake or so-called "plot hole"! I don't think it is possible for a movie to be 100% plot-hole free or not having the answers to every question out there. Everybody loved Beauty and the Beast despite its failure to tell us how long Belle stayed at Beast's castle. People enjoyed the Little Mermaid despite the movie not showing us how Ariel got interested in humans. Everybody enjoyed the Toy Story 1-3 despite the Pixar guys not wanting to address what happened to Andy's father. So, why can't we enjoy Tangled for what it is, despite its failure to address why Mother Gothel didn't change the date of Rapunzel's b-day? Please stop randomingly pointing out flaws/plot-holes in movies. IIt takes out the joy out of someone's movie time. Nobody likes a kill joy! If you think you can make a movie better than Disney or other movie studio, then why don't you do it yourself, Mrs. I'm-so-smarter-than-other-movie-studios?

I think people just want to know the background story. It's just curiousity. I don't think having an interest in the unknown details ruins the movie. :)

It's not sucking the fun out of it, its thinking critically - no need to be defensive.

People want to know why things happen and for it to have a logical explanation. Yes, its a Disney film that should be appreciated for its face value, but its to provide some background to the characters, more about their history, the reason why things are the way they are.

I advocate for people to criticize movies. It shows that you are THAT much of a fan to know what is missing, and possibly fill in the plot holes (which are inevitable) for themselves.

well, because it does :P
and quite frankly a lot of good movie have plot holes...i have to admit sometimes it's fun making fun of movies! :D for me it doesn't mean that i like it less, sometimes making fun of the movie helps me like it more XD and the plot holes make me feel like i don't have to be perfect to make a good story (i like writing stories) so it's all just a matter of opinion really, some people do it because they hate the movie, some people do it just for fun, like me, but i don't do it all the time just when i'm in the mood, so if you don't like it just tell your friend, hey, keep the plot holes to yourself XD
if he/she's your friend they will understand why you want them to shut it ^ ^
same way my friends understand that i don't like them to talk out the story
