Digimon Question

What happens to the original digimon after the first series ends and the digidestined return home? Do they stay together or go their separate ways? Do they have any more adventures?

Referring to agumon, gabumon, biyomon, tentomon, gomamon, palmon, patamon and gatomon. Also would appreciate any extra info people have on the after lives of the digidestined and if they return or keep in contact with their digimon pals. Thanks :)

Well, we don't really know. But since Patamon and Gatomon were together at the beginning of Digimon Adventure 02, they might have been together for four years, who knows? I guess that they nearly all went their separate ways but sometimes saw each other in passing? I'm sorry, I don't believe it really helps you.
