SHE'S IN TREATMENT. omfg I hate people like you guys who don't understand mental issues. And how you shouldnt close off from the person who needs help. You need to embrace them. They need you're support. If you don't help them people ( LIKE ME) wont respect you.

^ So what? So what if she's letting down a lot of fans? Those fans weren't true fans- they don't stick through with her when she's going through tough times? That's 100% BULLSHIT.

Like StarrieNites said, she's going into TREATMENT- NOT REHAB, but even if she did go into rehab people don't have be ignorant about it. Ok, now it's time for me to go ballistic here:

1.) Yes, I admit cutting- or any kind of self destruction is bad- I should know because I did it for 3 years. Always had to get hospital stitches to cover them up, always switching hospitals so I didn't draw attention to myself. Well, blah blah blah. I got help, got put on medication and am better. So what if that has to happen with Demi? There are thousands of people like me out there, and just because Demi is a celeb- you're going to treat her differently?

2.) Following that last comment ^: Just because Demi is with Disney- that means NOTHING. Miley was still with Disney when she started acting like a slut. It's no different, just stop with that thought right now.

3.)Drugs- can't tell if she's on them. I'm not lucky enough to stand close enough to examine her, but her nose doesn't too red. Her cheekbones don't look too high either. Hmm. Gotta look into that more :)

4.)You have to realize- Demi was bullied. When you are bullied, everyone takes it a different way. For some, they start to bully others. For others, they start to self destruct themselves into a worthless piece of shit, because they feel that way. (Well, at least I know I did.) You can never forget that pain- you may forgive, but you can never forget. I bet you anything- she never got help for a doctor- someone who can actually give out legal meds :) I bet you she didn't. Then think about it you guys- she's not in America. She's in Hollywood- where you gotta watch what you do and what you say.
Constantly being called names, constantly being judged, constantly having no privacy MUST take a HUGE toll on your life. And always acting like you're in a good mood? Well, that depressed side is gonna come out sometime- and you have to stop it before it consumes you. And I'm glad that she realizes she needs help and it not trying to cover it up anymore. I'm glad that she's getting help before she gets consumed- before she dies. That's really saying that she respects herself- and I'm PROUD to say that I'm a fan of her. I'm PROUD to say that I'm gonna stick through it with her- no matter how long it takes. Because I've gone through it first-hand and I know how difficult it can be.

PS. EVERYONE is depressed at one time in their life or another. "Fans" who are too close-minded to realize that- I have nothing more to say to you. I'm just glad I'm not ignorant like you. And I hope everyone gets to read this comment- because I think it deserves that much attention. :)

Princess829, but that 4th reason didnt really make sense. She got bullied a LONG time ago. And she even said that ppl are treating her so much nicer now and that shes over that stage. So i dont think that was one of the reasons. But the other reasons might me true.

This is ridiculous!! What kind of fans are you? You guys shouldn't believe every rumor you hear, nobody knows what's actually going on. She's going into treatment, not rehab, and she didn't cancel her twitter account, was hacked. And this is not about drugs, ok?

^^Agreed. She is seeking treatment for something that she can't really control. It is EXTREMELY brave of her to do that, she is in NO WAY disappointing or letting her fans down, if she let herself spiral out of control then yes, she is seeking help for a problem that she can't fix on her own. Personally, I think she is so courageous to do this KNOWING that some ignorant people will react the way they have. And honestly if you aren't a fan of her anymore because of this, THANK GOD, you really shouldn't be a fan of her in the first place and SHE should be disappointed in YOU. That's all.

WOW! @cocoshake, first of all: Demi's 18 not 17. Second of all, why are you on her spot? and third of all, she's stil a role model! She's getting help! It's not "DUMB" all the people who chose that! Who cares if she's on Disney? She's getting help. That's teaching kids not to bottle things up and to take responsibility for themselves and get help when they know they need it. She changed because she's depressed and people really need to stop being mean. You're not a real fan if you're just like "She changed too much. Maybe I'll like her again once she's not crazy". That's stupid. If you were famous and depressed and stressed, your fans giving up on you certainly wouldn't help you. :(

I don't care what she has done in the past. Demi is a great role model and I support her. I'm very happy that she is seeking help that way she'll be happier and manage the sad times in better methods. I love Demi!

@btrfan160 you never forget a bully,and never forget the pain,It sticks with you forever,and Hollywood there is alot of ppl who says negative things about her and others and that's why she deleted her twitter,you haven't been thre,you don't knew how it feels like ,Open you mind . and beside do u think she's not allowed to get a tretmeant just because she's with disney ? she should think of herself and health before her fans is your ask me.she's so brave for being courage and doing it and not care of what people and haters would say .Thumps up Demi,you are a fighter :)
