It's kind of a "clean version". Lots of songs get a word or two changed. Sometimes it's for the better such as in "Teardrops on My Guitar" by Taylor. I think in that song it was unnecessary to use that word and "it's just so funny" is much better and something I myself would say.
In this case, I first heard the edit version so I really liked it, but now that I'm used to the original I like both.
