Will Demi Lovato's “Sonny With A Chance” Be Canceled? |


The Disney Channel Original Series “Sonny With A Chance” took a break from filming so that Disney star Demi Lovato could go on the Jonas Brothers World Tour / Camp Rock 2 Tour over the summer, but now that Demi has checked herself into rehab it is being speculated that the show may be off the air for longer than expected.

According to reports “Sonny” was set to resume filming in January 2011, but since it is unclear when Demi will return from rehab the resume date for filming is no longer set in stone. A rep for Disney also revealed that Demi’s health comes first and that if they need to change something up with the show they will, stating:

“The health and well-being of Demi comes first and if we have to make other plans, we will.
”Whether that means filming the show without Demi or not filming the show at all we’re not sure. What do you think will happen?

It's not going to be cancelled. They are going to revamp the show if she is not out of rehab before Jan. They are going to do what they did for Halloween and Christmas. It's going to be So Random then when she comes back, they will continue the plot. Hopefully she will be back but we don't want her out too soon then be pushed back in. Source: link

Well its depending on how many views and how much support the show gets. I doubt that they would cancel it though.
